We are proud to be able to sponsor a number of apprentices across our sites as well as in our office. We allow you to gain the skills and knowledge you need to succeed and offer the opportunity to learn and develop in all fields. All apprentices are nurtured throughout by their supervisors and along the way gain more understanding of their chosen career whilst having time to build confidence in the working environment. ‘People think an apprenticeship means long hard days at work with the same mundane task, but they're wrong.
In the time I’ve been working with LBS (Electrical), not only have my knowledge and skills been broadened,but I get to work alongside some amazing people from all walks of life; people that I have picked up a great deal of knowledge from. My Foreman and Supervisor (they know who they are) were very supportive and encouraging towards me and helped me to gain my NVQ. They allowed me to gain an insight into all aspects of plumbing as well as helping to grow my confidence in the work I do.
I’m learning new skills everyday as well as enhancing my knowledge of the construction industry. LBS (Electrical) as a company have a very positive and unbiased mindset, this really helps to create a brilliant environment to work in.’
