King Edward VII Estate
Originally opened as a tuberculosis hospital in 1906, King Edward VII Estate brings together a collection of unique Grade II and Grade II* buildings, which have been renovated into luxury apartments, duplexes. and houses alongside some new builds.
Logistical Building Services (Electrical) completed the Mechanical installation to 45 plots during the First Phase between 2014 and 2016 before commencing the Second Phase M&E work to a further 36 high specification apartments in 2018.
Mechanical
Working within a mixture of refurbishments and new-builds, our Mechanical Team installed:
- Sanitary Ware and Shower Screens (made to measure) as required.
- Cast Iron Radiators to all plots.
- Underground Water Mains to supply the project.
- Central Basement Boiler House to feed all current and future phases.
- Portable Water Tanks and an Underground Water Tank within a confined space.
- Hot and Cold-Water Risers and Dry. Risers.
Electrical
Our Electrical Team started on the Second Phase; providing the following installations:
- Interior Lighting for Apartments and Communal Spaces.
- Sockets and Switches.
- Safety systems including Fire Alarms.
- Electrical Car Charging Points in the basement car park.
- TV Systems.
The Swimming Pool
While Logistical Building Services (Electrical) has worked on a number of resident-only gyms, King Edward VII Estate offered our Electrical Team the opportunity to install atmospheric lighting for the swimming pool.
